Cutthorpe is a small picturesque village with superb views over Chesterfield, which is about 3 miles south-east. It spreads along 3 miles of the B6050 to the east of and is close to the Peak District National Park. There are 2 pubs, a village school, recreation ground with a cricket square, the Village Institute plus the Linacre Reservoirs with beautiful bluebell woods and surrounding walks. Burns Night Celebration

The feast and merriment will be taking place in the Village hall on Friday 26th January between 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm. It’s a wonderful evening with music, food and a wee tipple to keep the cold out. Cutthorpe Village Charity

Many of the activities in the village are supported by the village charity, Cutthorpe Matters. To become a member costs nothing and requires no commitment but does give the charity the support of numbers of interested residents, the link to the membership form is here (for download and printing.
