Cutthorpe is a small picturesque village with superb views over Chesterfield, which is about 3 miles south-east. It spreads along 3 miles of the B6050 to the east of and is close to the Peak District National Park. There are 2 pubs, a village school, recreation ground with a cricket square, the Village Institute plus the Linacre Reservoirs with beautiful bluebell woods and surrounding walks. Cutthorpe Kids Easter Party

On Saturday 16th April, Cutthorpe Kids will be hosting an Easter party at the Village Institute from 12.00-14.00. Tickets are available from www.eventbrite.com/e/cutthorpe-kids- easter-party-tickets-294800976657 with a suggested donation of £1, payable on the day. See more details on the Events page Cutthorpe Kids baby group is run in the Three Merry Lads on Wednesday mornings 9.30 am (see Regular events for more information).

Litter Pick

We are hoping to run this on Saturday 26th March 10am in the Three Merry Lads car park, please come along and help if you can spare an hour. We will not have a van this year so if anyone can help by collecting the bags at the end of the morning we will be grateful. Please let Anne Harrison (07484 814487) know.

Gardening Club

Next meeting 30th March, 26 The Square (in the event of rain the meeting will be in the Three Merry Lads). Come along with your plans, pleas for help and any cuttings others might enjoy. New classes at the Institute see Regular events for new Weight Loss and Yoga classes

Many of the activities in the village are supported by the village charity, Cutthorpe Matters. To become a member costs nothing and requires no commitment but does give the charity the support of numbers of interested residents, the link to the membership form is here (for download and printing.
