Severn Trent Water announced the start of work on Monday 15th September 2025 to remove the old boardwalk on the top reservoir circular route and replace it with a new stone causeway. This means that the circular route around the top reservoir will be closed for the duration of the works and they ask all visitors to please follow the footpath diversion signs.
