Cutthorpe is a small picturesque village with superb views over Chesterfield, which is about 3 miles south-east. It spreads along 3 miles of the B6050 to the east of and close to the Peak District National Park. There are 3 pubs, a village school, recreation ground with a cricket square and village institute plus the Linacre Reservoirs with beautiful bluebell woods and surrounding walks. An annual festival is held over the 2nd weekend in July together with the traditional well dressing ceremony. Dates: 1st December Open Mic Night 8th December Village Christmas meal 15th December Welcome party 22nd December Open Mic Night 27th January Open Mic Night Quiz Nights - every Thursday Three Merry Lads Welcome party Friday 15th December All Customers Old and New are invited to our Welcome Party, with buffet, live entertainment and the 1st drink free - kindly donated by Marstons, just to say a massive Thank you to everyone from Ray and Nicola. Christmas Village Meal We are holding this at the Three Merry Lads on Friday 8th December.  Maxine will be providing the entertainment after last year’s fantastic performance and we hope as many of you as possible will come along to enjoy the celebration. Booking is required - £20 per person (£10 deposit). Get your booking in as soon as possible.
